Gallery Page

The Gallery Page allows the addition of three different types of information: Officers, Photos, and Lists.

Officers

  • Season: All officers with the same Season entry will be listed together under the Season heading.
  • Title: The officer's position int he club.
  • Full Name: The full name of the officer as it should be displayed.
  • All other fields are optional. If an officer doesn't want particular information displayed, it can be left blank.
  • Clicking Cancel will return you to the previous screen.

Photos

  • Caption: The text that will be displayed in the link to the photo.
  • Credit: The person who created the photo or image. This will be displyed when the caption is moused-over.
  • Link: If the photo is on another site, enter the URL of the page where the image currently resides.
  • File Upload: Select the image file to be uploaded from your local hard-drive. Uploading a file will override anything entered into the Link field.
  • Clicking Cancel will return you to the previous screen.

Lists

Adding list items can be accomplished by clickiing on the "Edit News, Announcements and Items" button.
  • Item Status:
    • Pending: Awaiting approval. Do not display.
    • Approved: Display the item.
    • Disaproved: The item was reviewed and rejected. Do not display.
  • Date Posted: This is automatically filled in.
  • Expiration Date: This is the date on which the item will no longer be displayed.
  • Category: Select a heading under which the item will be displayed. A Site Administrator can edit the available headings on the Admin page under the Gallery button.
  • Linked File: A file can be uploaded that will be opened when the Item Title is clicked.
  • Item Title: The heading text to be displayed. For Announcements and News, this will be the headline.
  • Item URL: If there is related material on another site, enter the URL of the page to be displayed.
  • Description: For Announcements and News, this text will be the main body of the item. For all else, this text will be displayed as a pop-up when the item is moused over.
  • Clicking Cancel will return you to the previous screen.
